Installing Dragon wok burners in your outdoor kitchen
Of course Roaring Dragon wok stations and wok tables with their built-in burners are practical and flexible. But we've already seen lots of great ideas and solutions for integrating Dragon wok burners "solo" into your own kitchen designs. We have put together a few tips and information for you below for installing Dragon wok burners in your outdoor kitchen
What is the best material to use for the worktop of my outdoor kitchen?
We recommend concrete, stone or stainless steel. Durable, heat-resistant and easy to clean.
How thick can the worktop be?
The worktop should be a maximum of 7 cm thick.
Does the Dragon wok burner have to stand on an intermediate shelf or can it be installed suspended?
No, the Roaring Dragon can be installed suspended. However, the side load must be taken into account. How large must the distance to all sides be? We recommend installing it in an area of 50*50cm. This ensures that the lateral heat radiation is not too great.
How far is the end of the valve from the center of the burner?
The distance from the center of the burner to the end of the valve is 395mm.
Can there be a cupboard door in front of it or will there not be enough air?
That is not a problem. There is enough air coming in through the burner head.
Can the Roaring Dragon® be connected to a natural gas pipe?
If the natural gas pipe has a pressure of at least 1.5 bar, this is not a problem.
Which Roaring Dragon wok burner is best suited for installation in my outdoor kitchen?
It really only depends on how much space you have planned for your wok burner. The Roaring Dragon wok burners come in 3 sizes - all with the same power, but with different dimensions and features.
